These sweetpeas are so cute!!! I meet these cuties when they were two and a half weeks old ... They turn two tomorrow!!! Aren't they just so sweet! It was great to see them today and they were darling ... I love getting to be of seeing families grow!

This weekend was such a beautiful weekend! Five years ago we lost our first baby Maxwell House ... he was the most beautiful BullMastiff and filled our lives with so much joy. We lost Maxwell House to cancer and truly have not had a pet like him since and have had reservations of getting another buddy. Some might think it's funny to have such a bond to a furry four-legged buddy ... but just think about it .. Unconditional Love .. man it is the BEST!

This weekend I got to photography the Kane boys ... just ten weeks old and twins ... such delights and their parents were so sweet ... And the big baby Guiness ... pictured above ... their 9 year old BullMastiff who was just as sweet as Maxwell House and grabbed my heart instantly. As I drove home I called my husband and said "I think I'm ready"! He instantly knew what I was talking about ... I think we are ready for a new puppy!!! Thank you Kane family for not only the blessing of getting to met you, capture your sweet boys but for sharing your Buddy with me ... my heart truly needed it!!! I also realized that morning that Mr. Maxwell House would have been 9 this year also ...

It's so awesome to get to see growing relationships right in front of your eyes! This weekend I got to capture some tender moments with Angus and his family ... here are a few that I just love.

I just love this image! I wanted to share it. Today I stepped out my front door and decided that no matter what it was going to be a great day ... and you know what ... it was!!! I've really been trying to focus on the wonderful blessings that we have each and every day ... the simple things ... most times I think I'm pretty good at it .. or at least my husband tells me that, but I was feeling like maybe with as busy as I've been getting with life stuff that I was missing out , or losing sight ... so this morning I stepped out the the door, took a deep breath, a good swig of my coffee that Tony made me and took in the beauty of the clouds, the fresh air and the many, many chirping birds ... it was truly a beautiful day! When I came back home from my trip my kids greeted me so happily it brought tears to my eyes, it was so awesome!

One of the most awesome things about being a photographer is getting to be inspired and continue to learn from those that totally Rock!! Monday I got the most awesome opportunity to learn from two of the BEST ... Joe Buissink who is one of the most passionate and inspiring photographers I've met, who has photographed the weddings of people like Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Simpson along with many beautiful people we don't know their names. Marcus Bell, who is also someone who is just so awesome in his sharing and passion that one can only hold back the tears ... well I didn't, when he shared his images with us and his passion. I can not express how totally cool it is to be a part of an industry that is ever striving to help each other, who all share a passion that is so dear to our hearts ... I can only say that I'm blessed to be a part of this Industry and to get to photograph people who let me into their lives that share of part of them and allow me to share a part of me ...

It was totally awesome to get to share the day learning with my fellow local photographer friends Jennifer from the Memory Journalists and Carol Niles and what a truly awesome treat to meet up with a photographer friend Garrett of BirdMan Inc. that I met while training with Mike Colon in Newport Beach ... that was such a treat! I tell you friends ... it is a blessing to have you all in my life and get to learn from the very BEST!

This past week I did a session with my friend Rachael and her beautiful daughter Audra. The coolest thing was that we were doing the session specifically to capture the relationship between baby and mom ... I love these images. I love that they are real and true ... they truly capture my heart and I love that I get to share them.

What an absolute blast! Recently photographed an 80's theme party and it was so fun ... who would have thought people still had leg-warmers, lace gloves, top-siders ... and of coarse all the great music that everyone knew the words too! Rick from The Entertainment Teamwas such a great DJ and keep the party going ... literally everyone danced all night! What fun!

Mr. Reese! What a Cutie Pie! Honestly!! Here is a couple images that I just loved from my session with him for the Yeah Baby Expo this March 17th and 18th. I just couldn't resit posting these as he is so sweet. He truly did not want to leave that motorcycle! He rode it like a pro! See you guys in March.

So it's been a crazy few weeks ... I've been trying to catch up on things from December and it seems like there is light ... well, I'm starting to see it! Its FEBURARY! I can't belive it! Life is so crazy isn't it ... it's like there is just so much to do and so little time to do it. It flies by! I just got the little ones into bed and I'm thinking ... wow, why can't most of our day be spent with them and the few hours that we squeeze in for them in the evening be for work? ... TIME, TIME, TIME, it is so valuable! We all have the same amount of it and we can't buy any more of it ... crazy isn't it?! The picture above is of my little Isabel when she was 18 months old ... I just ran across it this evening ... I'm registering her for Kindergarden on Monday ... CRAZINESS!!

Today has been such a busy day!!! I got the new Portrait site up and I've been working on getting the blog back in order ... during the transfer ... things got a little weird so please forgive the mess. All the photos and slideshows on the blog didn't go over ... so I'll be feaverishly working this week to get those back up online. Burning the midnight oil no less!!

Today has been such a good day. I went to Starbucks and got a cup of coffee and picked up the John Lennon CD that they have on sale and listened to the song Dreamer like 50 times today. Such a great song. I just love it. "some say I'm a dreamer ...but I'm not the only one" ... Imagine . I just love the message. People living in harmony. We are living in such critical times hard to deal with. I wish everyone lived with the thought that we should all live as one. Imagine.

This issue was all about boys and it was great fun ... all of the sweet little guys had such great energy , I just loved it! Bryce even let me put ladybugs on his nose!!!! Go out and grab the new issue ... its great!

OK so I'm still not over how cool it is to have a camera on the computer monitor!! Here are some family photos ... see mom ... I take family photos!!

The Ipod came today ... see .... and I'm patiently ... or rather not so patiently waiting for it to charge so I can start downloading music and podcasts ... but now I don't have an excuse anymore for not going to the gym ... dang it!

OK ... so I could not resist alittle more fun with the camera tonight. Mason and I were testing out the effects! Isn't he a cutie pie!

Right On! Today my new MacBook Pro came and let me tell you I'm totally stooked! This thing rocks! It has a built in camera on the monitor .. too cool .. so I had to snap a pic of me to test it out! Right On! I'll be playing with this all night ... ok ... maybe not all night, I have images to work on ;-)

Ahhhh, so fun! Last week I got to give photo tips on the Good Day Sacramento show with Julissa Ortiz and the crew... and let me tell you it was so so fun! The morning flew by like it was just 15 mintues ... in truth it takes alot of time to do what they do. Us TV watching folks just get to see what is on TV ... but it is amazing at what is behind the scenes! Thanks Alyson, Terry, Dave, Branden and Of Coarse Julissa for making me feel like I was part of the gang! And thank you Wendy ... :-)

Well, I'm feaverishly working on wedding images this week and I ran accross this one this afternoon, my assistant Hidemi always captures and image of me and I like this one ... so I thought I'd post it! The one she got of me standing in the bathtub photographing a bride still takes the cake ... but I like the inventive use of my legs as a tripod while still looking casual ... too funny!

Man-0-man! It's been a crazy week and its only Wednesday! This week I got to work with Jolissa of Good Day Sacramento and give tips on how to get great photos and how to edit them...TV is so so fun! And Jolissa and the crew are great, Dave, Terry, Alyson and Branden all made me feel comfortable and like I was one of the gang! Thank you guys! Also today my new ad came out in Sacramento Bride magazine! It was so awesome to buy the magazine at the book store and say ... this is my work! Jenni the bride in the ad is just the sweetest thing ... Both Tyson and Jenni, Thank you so much for being such truly wonderful people.

Well, Isabel is calling me to give her a kiss goodnight ... so I'm going to go hang out with her and most likely fall asleep ... it's been a long day!

Amazing! It's December ... I can't belive how time flies! It's been some time since I've posted so I thought get to it! I've been so busy these last few weeks ... it's so fun! ... and crazy. Being a photographer is trully the BEST fun! I love getting to play ... I mean work ... with such awesome people and kids ... it totally ROCKS! Yesterday I did a shoot for my favorite local kids magazine KidAroundTown and we had a blast! The new issue will be out in January so keep your eyes peeled!

If any of you out there are from the Boston area ...Multiple Moms Rock (the hip shirts for moms of multiples) are going to be featured in the Boston Herald and I hear that potentially the photos from our session will be included! It's that cool?!!! I can't wait to see it ... check out Monday the 11ths paper ;=) and keep me posted if you would.

Alysa and Reid's wedding at the Forest House in Forest Hill, CA was so awesome! So many special touches ... it was awesome! Finally! I launched my new wedding site! It's been a while comming and still alittle updating going on ... but I finally did it!!! Check it out! I'd love to hear from you all!

Recently I photographed for Multiple Moms Rock , Wendy Irvine, mom of twins and the creator is such a sweet and dear person with a spirt that just makes you smile! Check out their site ... her shirts are so fun!!! With tag lines like "Why can't I have a Time Out" and "Body by Baby" ... they are irresistible!!! Her shirts have been featured in KidAround Town and are spreading across the Nation! As a mom on the go I can appreciate having something sassy to put on when I'm running out the door to the store with two kids on my hip and hoping I remembered my wallet! Check 'em Out!!

Today I'm sharing some of my tips for taking great pictures of your little ones with the Fair Oaks Moms club! I'm nervous as it's my first "real" invited speaking engagement!!! We'll see how it goes!! Hopefully I wont trip over my feet!!!

What a day! It was Awesome! The first of three Park Days ... I got to see my buddies Henry and Charlie ... and boy have they grown! Emily ... oh I love her spirit! Cara and Katie ... just sweet sisters! And so beautiful. Bryce and Brenna ... you guys are so great ... Bryce I think has a great eye for a great picture and Brennas eyes are just B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!! Thomas and his beautiful sister Annika - you guys are so fun! And I got to meet little Miss. Jayden ... just a week and a day old .... so tender and sweet! Oh yes, and I got to see all their parents ;-) I'm so blessed! It was such a pleasure to see you all today and photograph you ... I love getting to be a part of your family as they grow! Thank you ... Thank you ... Thank you!

I also had the pleasure of getting to hang out with Maren and her friends for a girls night out! You ladies are so fun and so great! Thank you for letting me be a part of the fun.

I'm off to go hang out with my kids ... Isabel is calling me saying that the movie is on ... goto go!!!!!

.... just wanted to share that this week has been so full of happy things! Three of my clients have had their babies ... which I have to share has been so awesome to get happy moms and dads calling me saying ... "We had a Boy!" or "Miss. Jayden has arrived!" It really is such a blessing to get to be a part of your lives ... it truly makes my heart smile!

Also an update on my buddy Chip ... He has lost 55 pounds!!! Man, I am so proud of him! But darn it, I had been slacking from the gym and now I totally have to get my butt back there! So I'll be seeing Chip tomorrow a.m. at the crack of dawn!!! Rock on my buddy ... you are the BOMB! I hope the batteries in my MP3 player are still good!!
