Wow! Yesterday's wedding with Derek and Megan was just a beautiful day!
They were married at Empire Mine in Grass Valley which is so beautiful it's crazy!

Kelly and Jenci
Kelly and Jenci were married at Straus Island in Elk Grove and it was so beautiful ... It was also I think one of the hottest days we've had in Sacramento in a while ... but the heat did not deter them from having a lovely day ... here are some of the images that we captured...
At the end of the evening, I followed them over to the Hyatt in downtown Sacramento where they were spending the evening ... we got some super romantic stuff there!

Mostly likely one of the biggest wedding days of the year for popularity ... I had the honor of photographing Lynn and Bruce! It was an awesome day! Here are some of the moments ....

Wendy's husband grabbed this photo while we were on assignment at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay. We had such an awesome time. The Ritz is so awesome! Shelly gave us a wonderful tour and Ben gave us a little taste of the beach and local life in Half Moon Bay. Truly a treasure! If you are planning a romantic get-a-way I highly, highly recommend the Ritz. I was fortunate enough to bring my husband Tony with me and we had such a great time. The ocean view and the fire pit ... oh my ... it was truly great...not to mention the bagpipes at sunset. Bagpipes are my grandmothers favorite ... she is from Scottland, it truly touched my heart. We even saw seals and dolphins from our window. Tony was totally loving my photography profession this past weekend!!!

Coming from family with 4 siblings ... I totally get this picture!! Sometimes telling the little ones to kiss their big sister ... really does capture "real" life!!! I love this image, it takes me right back to when I was this age ... I wish I had this picture of me and my brothers and sisters

I'm a sucker for anything that is inspiring ... who isn't?! I'm a true beliver in the slogan "whatever it takes" .. it's sorta a motto I live by. Recently a dream of mine came true. Not only a dream, but a goal that I had set for myself and I have to say and want to spread that it is so totally true that you CAN do whatever it is that you set your heart and mind to. I think I always "thought" that was true .. but really didn't have any sound proof ... recently I got that proof and it brought me to tears.
I read this quote today from a book of inspirational quotes ... "If we did all the things that we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselvees." Thomas Edison said that.
It's so so true. Believe in yourself and you can totally make anything happen.
